Drywall · O'Fallon & St. Charles County
Patches you can't find afterward.
We hang and finish new drywall, and we repair damaged walls and ceilings so well you'll have trouble finding where the patch was.
Drywall Installation & Repair
Drywall repair looks easy until you try it. The hole is the simple part. The hard part is feathering the mud wide enough, matching the texture on the ceiling, and priming so the patch doesn't flash through the paint. A bad patch shows every time light rakes across the wall at an angle. A good one disappears.
Before Shane patches anything, he wants to know why it broke. A water stain on the ceiling means a leak somewhere above it, and patching without finding it means doing the job twice. Cracks that keep coming back over a doorway can point to framing movement. Nail pops are usually lumber shrinking as the house dries out. He'll explain what he sees.
We also hang and finish new drywall for basements, additions, remodels and garages: screws on the right spacing, tight seams, corner bead set straight, and multiple coats sanded smooth. Many homes around O'Fallon and St. Peters have knockdown or orange-peel texture, and we match it so repairs and new work blend with the rest of the room.

From a real customer
“He is truly the old fashion worker your grandparents tell you about from back in the day.”
Read every reviewShane is the most professional contractor I have ever interacted with for a job. From the first time calling him to the time he left my property he was 100% sincere with everything he did. We requested to put on a new roof on a shed and fix a rotted floor. He recommended putting some extra TLC into the shed including siding and some other work. We didn't think it was possible due to the age of the shed. When he hit some roadblocks with extra issues dealing with the project, he kept his cool. He even worked in a non-shaded area, with a heat index over 110 degrees with no breaks. His employee had the same mentality and I could see his dedication as well. He was younger in age, but Shane educated him along the way. I could tell he was helping to shape the next generation of contractors. Shane was trying to put the love of the work back into the job rather than just completing the work. He told us the new problems we didn't know about and quickly addressed them. He didn't get upset by me asking questions and even gave detailed answers to my questions. If you want a person who shows the ability and love of his work, hire this company. I felt as if I hired a family member even though we never met before since he truly took ownership of his work. His prices are beyond reasonable and he doesn't charge for an extra screw or a random material other contractors charge customers. He is truly the old fashion worker your grandparents tell you about from back in the day. When I discussed future jobs with him he gladly said he would handle it. No job is too big or small for Shane. If someone would ask if I would hire him back, I would say 100%. He even warranties his work for years and you can't beat it.

FAQ
Drywall Installation & Repair:
common questions
Still wondering about something? Call or text Shane at (636) 306-0393.
Can you match my ceiling texture?
In most cases, yes. Knockdown, orange-peel and light splatter textures are common in St. Charles County homes, and we match them on repairs. Popcorn ceilings and unusual hand-applied textures take more work to blend. Shane will look at your texture and tell you honestly how close the match will be before any work starts.
Why do the same cracks keep coming back?
Recurring cracks, especially at the corners of doors and windows, usually mean the framing is moving with the seasons or settling. More mud alone won't hold. We may reinforce the joint with mesh tape, refasten the drywall, or recommend a look at the framing if the movement seems structural. Shane will explain what he thinks is going on.
Do you fix the leak before replacing water-damaged drywall?
Yes. There's no point hanging new drywall under a leak that's still active. We trace the water to its source, whether that's the roof, a bathroom upstairs or a plumbing line, and get it fixed first. Then we replace the damaged drywall and any wet insulation and finish it to match the surrounding ceiling or wall.
Will you paint after the repair?
We can. Many repairs make the most sense to finish completely: prime the patch, then paint the whole wall or ceiling corner to corner so the sheen matches. Touching up only the patched spot often leaves a visible halo. If you'd rather paint it yourself, we'll leave the repair primed and ready for your brush.
